I chose to attend Iona College because...

I chose to attend Iona College because of the close proximity to New York City, the spectacular Iona College School of Business, and for Iona only being thirty minutes from home. Being only a short train ride to NYC allows for so many options when it comes to internships and job opportunities that it was impossible to pass up. When I visited I could immediately tell that the atmosphere was far superior to any of the other schools I visited in terms of school spirit and being welcoming of newcomers.

What is your favorite place on campus?

Definitely the top floor of Ryan Library. The top floor is a completely silent floor that gives you the opportunity to have peace and quiet to either finish up any assignments or to simply study! It's just so beneficial for all students looking for an area where they can be guaranteed no noise.

I felt that I have Moved The World by...

I felt that I have Moved the World by getting involved on campus and discovering the countless volunteering opportunities Iona has to offer. Ranging from occasionally attending to Boys and Girls club in New Rochelle, or simply giving a helping hand with on campus events you can always find away to get involved and try to make a difference.

What has been your most memorable experience at Iona?

My most memorable experience at Iona has to be attending the Iona and Manhattan rivalry basketball game. Being only 8.6 miles from a conference opponent, and with both basketball programs having a ton of success over the past decade a rivalry was sure to develop. The game was a "Gold Rush" event this year and being aired on ESPNU was very exciting. Go Gaels!
