I love their mission trips and service opportunities. I have always loved volunteering, so having various service opportunities was very important to me. I also loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere from both staff and students on campus.
I felt that I have Moved The World by volunteering at various organizations in my hometown throughout high school. I also felt that I have Moved The World through my positivity and ability to be friendly to anyone I meet.
My favorite place on campus is Ryan Library. Studying and trying to focus can be very stressful around your roommates, especially if you all have different schedules. The library is somewhere I go when I need some peace and quiet. I can really focus on my work and I often get a lot done while I am there. There is nothing more satisfying than leaving the library after finishing all your homework!
My most memorable experience at Iona has been orientation. I met both of my roommates and some friends that I am so blessed to have in my life! At orientation I fell even more in love with Iona and I felt very at-home.
