My most memorable experience at Iona was my entire first semester after transferring. It was so amazing to me how different my experience at Iona has felt compared to my past college career. I did not expect to feel so at home and meet so many great people in just my first semester. It was such an amazing and unexpected experience that I am truly grateful for and continue to experience.
My favorite place on campus is Ryan Library because there are many different areas to study, get work done, or to just relax in between classes.
Going on a mission trip to Nazareth Farm in West Virginia over this past winter break of 2017. This was my first mission trip and it was one of the most impactful experiences of my life. I was able to put myself of service to others in an area where it was needed, bond with my team, and ultimately learn more about myself in the process.
The small and tight-knit community feel. I really value being able to learn in smaller class sizes and develop relationships with my professors, as opposed to just being one of many in a huge lecture hall. I also love Iona's proximity to New York City and other great areas for internships and prospective jobs.
