My most memorable experience was participating in Relay for Life until 4AM, then going to help out at Accepted Students Day a few hours later with no sleep in between! Not only was it so much fun, but it was so inspiring to see so many other students doing the same thing, going from one event to another simply because they love Iona and the involvement that they have on campus.
taking advantage of all the opportunities Iona has to offer, whether it's service-oriented or extracurricular. There are so many different ways to get involved and make a difference on campus and off, and no amount of involvement is too great or too small to create a significant impact!
Coming from a tight-knit high school, I was really looking for a sense of community in whatever school I chose to attend, and it was the first thing I noticed about Iona. Seeing my Gael Guides on my very first tour say hello to so many people as we walked across campus made me feel so at home already, and that feeling has never gone away!
My favorite place on campus is the Harry Potter Room on the second floor of Ryan Library! Not only does it feel like you're sitting in Hogwarts (hence its nickname), it's the perfect place to concentrate on your schoolwork and take some quiet time for yourself to get things done.
