I chose to attend Iona College because...

When I came to Iona to audition for the pipe band, I immediately felt a sense of community. Everyone was so friendly and I really felt welcome. It sounds cheesy here but it really is a family here. You feel like you belong right away.

What has been your most memorable experience at Iona?

I've enjoyed some great moments at Iona that have helped me grow as a person and I will cherish forever. If I had to pick one it would be getting to march in the St. Patrick's Day in Manhattan. It was such an awesome thing to get to experience with the band. It brought me a lot closer to some amazing people who have turned into lifelong friends. It was an awesome day I'll never forget.

What is your favorite place on campus?

The food truck because... waffle fries at 10pm

Having the opportunity to welcome the freshmen class of 2020 this past summer as an orientation leader. I got to help make their first experience as college students as positive as possible. I also got closer to my fellow orientation leaders and they have influenced me to become more involved.
