My most memorable experience at Iona was when I was in the Iona Player's production of the Brother's Grimm Spectaculathon. I had never done any kind of theater before, but my upperclassman friends convinced me to audition and I got a part. I had such an amazing time, and it felt great to try something new that I ended up loving.
I chose Iona because it was the perfect distance from home; close enough that I could make it home on the weekends but far enough away that it truly felt like a new experience.
My favorite place on campus has to be the quad. The giant Ginko Tree is the center of campus and looks beautiful all year round, especially in the spring. It's a great place to hang out and meet new people!
I felt that I have Moved The World through my work as a Resident Assistant. After putting on fun beneficial programs for my floor and creating a true community in the residence hall, my old residents learned what it meant to be a Gael, and now Move The World themselves by becoming Club Presidents, Campus Ministers, and Tour Guides.
