I felt that I have Moved The World by...

I feel that I have moved the world through my observation and student teaching hours. I have spent many hours in different classes getting to create a relationship with the students and watch them grow throughout the year and in some way or another help them to be better versions of themselves.

What has been your most memorable experience at Iona?

My most memorable experience at Iona was going on the Kairos retreat! I went into it not knowing what to expect and had experienced everything I hoped for and more. Through Kairos I created so many relationships that I cherish and restored my faith.

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the hill. I love sitting on the hill with my friends once the weather gets warmer and being able to relax in between classes there!

I chose to attend Iona College because...

I chose to attend Iona because of the community! When I experienced my first tour, my tour guide was saying hello to everyone we walked by. I could tell that Iona was a close knit community and three years later that still holds true. I also chose Iona because it was close enough to go home if and when I needed to but far enough away where I was able to experience living on my own.
