The "Harry Potter Room" in the Ryan Library. That is my favorite place on campus to get work done, be alone, and focus by by myself.
Attempting to meet as many people as I can. There is a wide range of students at Iona. I believe you can Move the World by engaging with the people around you, no matter how similar or different they are from you.
There was something about Iona that drew me to it. Everything about my application process seemed like an individualized attempt to rein me into the school. When I first visited campus, my family and I missed a tour and Brother Ford gave us our own. I knew a huge school would not have done this for me. On move in day, President Nyre moved me in. That doesn't happen at other schools. The friendly atmosphere is Iona's strongest asset.
I believe I've been lucky enough to have many experiences already that have made my college experience so positive. As cliché as it sounds, not one singular experience has stood out to me, but my first semester with new friends was so fun. Ironically enough, my four other suitemates have become my best friends and they've made my time here memorable already.
